Today, we’re excited to share that we’ve teamed up with HAAS Alert, the creators of Safety Cloud®, to bring a new level of precision, speed, and validation to V2X safety communications for the automotive industry.

This collaboration tackles two of the biggest challenges in connected mobility:

1. Making sure real-time alerts reach drivers and systems in seconds, not minutes
2. Validating those alerts with fresh, image-based context to make them truly actionable

By combining HAAS Alert’s expansive alerting infrastructure with Nexar’s video-driven validation and AI-powered insights, we’re setting a new standard for how vehicles understand and respond to roadway hazards.

Why It Matters: Moving from Data to Decisions

OEMs have long struggled to get reliable, up-to-date roadway safety data to support advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and next-gen in-vehicle features. It's one thing to know something is happening ahead—it’s another to have the confidence that the data is verified, fresh, and relevant. That’s where this collaboration shines.

Together, we’re fusing two powerful capabilities:

• HAAS Alert’s Safety Cloud, which already powers millions of digital alerts to drivers, fleets, and navigation apps.
• Nexar’s real-time vision network, capturing and analyzing road conditions at scale across connected vehicles in the U.S.

The result? Real-time alerts that don’t just notify—they verify.

How It Works

This isn’t just a one-way feed of information. The integration is bi-directional and dynamic:

• Nexar-validated events, like a work zone or roadside incident, are delivered directly into the Safety Cloud ecosystem to warn nearby drivers through their infotainment systems or mobile apps.
• Safety Cloud alerts, in turn, are ingested by Nexar to strengthen the accuracy and responsiveness of our AI models and real-time roadway insights.

We’re not just telling cars what’s ahead—we’re showing them.

A New Benchmark in Connected Vehicle Safety

This collaboration also builds on the momentum we announced earlier this year, when Nexar began supporting NVIDIA’s AV platforms with real-world vision data. By teaming up with HAAS Alert, we’re adding another layer of fidelity and coverage that empowers automakers to design smarter, safer, and more connected vehicles.
